Configure Your First Scan

Follow these four essential steps to set up your environment and trigger your first analysis.

Step 1: Creating a Project

Before scanning, you must define a logical container for your code. This allows you to group multiple microservices or modules and view aggregated quality metrics.

Step 2: Linking a Repository

Connect your source code to your project. You can choose between automated Version Control Accounts (VCA) for GitHub/GitLab, or manual Git connections via SSH or HTTPS.

Step 3: Scanning a Repository

Trigger a deep analysis on any specific branch, tag, or commit. The scanner identifies bugs, security vulnerabilities, and code smells to generate your first snapshot.

Step 4: View Scan Progress

Track your analysis in real-time. Monitor the status of each scan stage through the Scan Queue and access detailed logs for troubleshooting.
